When players come in for batting lessons during the season, we mostly work on helping the player to maintain consistent ‘hitting-timing.’ The concept of hitting-timing is really a complex folder. As a coach, I’m responsible for understanding how every player is athletically wired to hit. And when it comes to hitting-timing, as coaches, we need to teach hitters how to consistently time their eyes to the spot where they are preparing to see the pitch!
