Here are some of the clips from my first visit with Max Mullett (Sarasota FL). As I usually do, I watch and observe the hitter, to see if the hitter is using a hitting tempo that is natural to his athletic disposition. In Max’s case, he wasn’t using the right hitting tempo.
Once I recommend trying the opposite hitting tempo, Max began to hit a whole lot better. Why is finding the hitter’s natural hitting tempo so important? It’s because the hitting tempo affects the hitter’s vision. So, if the vision is off, everything else is going to be out-of-sync as well in terms of good hitting outcomes.
