Terrific hitting session with Noah Hansen in Kenosha WI. Noah and I worked on having less of a “gorilla-swing” and having more of a controlled structured swing that lends itself to more success with high-velocity pitches, off-speed pitches, and pitches on the outside corner of the plate. We talked about innovative hitting concepts elite hitters use.
One is how elite hitter’s brains.., are actually moving 1/100 of a second ahead of the pitch. This is intertwined with the principle of “Eye to Hand” Coordination.
Elite hitters process the speed and the space of the ball faster than average hitters. Elite hitters…hardly watch the ball!
